Salvador Dalí
Salvador Dalí (1904-1989), the great master of Surrealism, depicts the world of the irrational, the subconscious and dreams in his paintings dominated by bold colors and sculptural figures. Characteristic of his painting and his graphics is a highly detailed, photographically realistic depiction of irrational motifs that refer to the unconscious, dreams, delusions and the supernatural. The artist himself called the artistic representation of these states of being and phantasties "paranoiac-critical method".
